The Nobility Fair Dubovac is an educational manifestation for tourists, from 15th May to the 1st June 2007. on the Old Town of Dubovac, Karlovac. For the first time it took place in 2005. and it was a big success immediately – more than 15000 visitors in two weeks.
The main idea of the project is reviving history. On Dubovac you will gain unforgettable and unique experience of return to the past. Costumed carathers will challenge you to the marksmanship tournament, medieval dancing or to take part in joggling performance. Taste the old dishes and find out how they were prepared, try drumming with our drummers, create an original vitraille, shield or piece of jewellery according to the medieval esthetics!
This is one of rare places that offer several different aspects of tourist offer: information, education and interaction.
We are inviting you to discover the secret that’s been hidden by the walls over seven centuries old, learn something about those-days costumes, and participate your selves in representation of parts of the history.
