MEDIEVAL FEAST

The rules of the medieval feast: the food is chosen and prepared the way it was done in the Middle Ages. That’s why there aren’t any potatoes and tomatoes (yes, ketchup and French fries are forbidden!) because there weren’t any in Europe. A fork didn't exist, so we don't use it on Dubovac either. Every meal is served so it could be eaten with fingers. The meal sequence and number can vary from the occasion to the occasion, depending on guest's desire.

Of course, the dinner wouldn’t be complete without the art program. With dinner we recommend:

- A short play 'Process beneath the Castle' – learn the history and the most important characters of the Noble Parish of Dubovac trough an intriguing drama of treason, conviction and redemption!
Find out more on Interpreters of history revived.

- Musical shows – discover sounds of old music played by eminent Croatian musicians.

- Joggling performance – a tradition of court fools and historical entertainers survived in art of joggling. They play with balance, perception and fire to give you a unique and unforgettable experience!

- The duration of the dinner with a program (or programs) is two hours, but it can be prolonged, if guests want it, with medieval party.

We want to create a relaxing atmosphere with a unique historical experience. If you visit us, you will eat and drink well, have a good laugh and take home memories that will be different from all the other dinners you've been to.

INDIVIDUAL VISITORS

On weekends and holydays will be held programs for individual audience, families with children and all who are interested to visit the Old town of Dubovac. During the days open for public we will concentrate on attractive, marketing and touristy features and presentations of old crafts and skills to the interested public.
